A living family farm since 1792<\/i><\/p>\n

Our vision for the farm and for it\u2019s hub, Ladan is to create a place where everyday activities increase the wellbeing of people, nature and animals.<\/p>\n

THE FARM<\/h2>\n

\u00d6r\u00e5kers G\u00e5rd has been run by the same family for seven generations (and counting). We invest in creating a living, fully functioning environment with arable agriculture, livestock, the Barn with caf\u00e9 and shops, all contained within a beautifully maintained landscape where the very best of this ancestral property is open for all to enjoy.<\/p>\n

\u00d6r\u00e5ker is a place where people come to meet and to get in touch with nature and themselves. Together, we take care of the various animals, the soil and vegetation. Our ambition is to help restore the micro-life in the soil by re-using the organic resources we have on the farm from animals and greens. We respect nature and we strongly believe that by honoring the natural processes, nature will repay us.<\/p>\n

LADAN<\/h2>\n

I Ladan (\u201cladan\u201d p\u00e5 svenska) finns ett caf\u00e9 och butiker. Vi planerar konstutst\u00e4llningar, marknader och andra evenemang under hela \u00e5ret.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sedan 2008 har vi erbjudit bes\u00f6karna en verkligt smakfull upplevelse av v\u00e5r g\u00e5rdsmilj\u00f6 och fr\u00e4mjat intresset f\u00f6r biologisk m\u00e5ngfald, n\u00e4rproducerad mat, h\u00e5llbarhet samt konst och hantverk. V\u00e5rt m\u00e5l \u00e4r att skapa en m\u00f6tesplats med fokus p\u00e5 m\u00e4nniskors v\u00e4lm\u00e5ende, djur och natur<\/p>\n

GROW TOGETHER<\/h2>\n

In 2019, we started the Odla Ihop project. \u2018Odla Ihop\u2019 means \u2018Growing Together\u2019 and is a double entendre with reference not just to sustainable horticulture, but also to bringing people together to work the land and nurture each other within the realms of biodiversity.<\/p>\n

Expanding sustainable vegetable cultivation, creating flower meadows for insects and pollination, and fermenting horse manure and other organic material with the Bokashi technique.<\/p>\n

We want to bring people together, using ecological friendly techniques to create regenerative cultivation of vegetables, herbs and fruit. We want to inspire other farms and municipalities in Sweden to collaborate with people locally to grow together, sustainably for both the environment and the economy, says Ebba Horn at \u00d6r\u00e5kers G\u00e5rd.<\/p>\n

We use permaculture techniques, and the vision is that Odla Ihop \u00d6r\u00e5ker will become a place for knowledge sharing through courses, workshops and collaborations.<\/p>\n

THE MANOR<\/h2>\n

Book a stay and be Lord or Lady of the Manor with your family and friends. Or come with your colleagues and enjoy what the house has to offer as a reward for hitting that sales target?<\/p>\n

Welcome to our manor where we always want to convey a welcoming, home-from-home feeling. Meet, hang out, eat and stay in beautifully decorated rooms where old country style meets modern ambiance. The manor house has a stunning view of the lake and is in the heart of a lively family farm with animals, caf\u00e9 and shops.<\/p>\n

The house boasts a sauna and outdoor pool (June-Sep) with several seating areas both inside and outside. 15 beds distributed over 9 bedrooms means you can literally sleep like a king\u2026or queen! HORSES<\/h2>\n

At \u00d6r\u00e5ker, the Icelandic horses thrive in their herds and are outside as much as possible. There are 16 horse boxes in the stables and the horses have plenty of room to roam the pastures, sheltering under cover when the weather demands it. The farm can accommodate a total of 25 horses.<\/p>\n

SPACE TO RENT<\/h2>\n

We have vacant premises in Ladan.<\/p>\n

\u00d6r\u00e5kers Ladug\u00e5rd is a modern and cozy meeting place with a cafe, conference room and premises over two levels. Here you can work in a rural environment and at the same time be part of a network that breathes sustainability. The barn is surrounded by crop fields and pastures. There are common areas to rent for conferences, lectures and customer meetings.<\/p>\n

CONFERENCE<\/h2>\n

We offer day conferences in the farm\u2019s old barn (Ladan), now converted into a modern meeting place. Here you can conference in the farm\u2019s caf\u00e9, have lunch and coffee in the interior design shop or outside with a view of the organic farms and our farm animals. In and around Ladan there are several social areas with space for separate meetings and group work. Why not have a meeting in the middle of plantations with the ducks as your closest neighbours.<\/p>\n
