Harvest time at Öråker
At Öråker, a family estate in Uppland and a working farm dating back to 1792, the Horn af Åminne family has breathed new life into the land—and the estate’s future.
The focus is on locally produced food, sustainability and biodiversity.

ÖRÅKER MANOR
Öråker Manor stands beside the sparkling waters of Lake Mälaren, north of Stockholm, stately and beautiful as a sunflower in the soil of Uppland. This well-preserved estate has been owned and run by the same family since 1831. Ebba represents the seventh generation and now runs Öråker with her husband, Benjamin Craven. Her mother, Carola Dyrssen, and daughters, Adrienne and Lizinka, also live on the estate in their own houses.
“We are developing the estate with a long-term view, preserving the precious natural surroundings and cultural heritage passed down by previous generations,” says Ebba. “Öråker is a place where people come together and connect with nature and themselves.”
